We were honored to welcome Julia Schnelle, Mrs. World 2024, as a guest speaker at the 75th anniversary celebration of the International Women’s Club. The event was a milestone in our club’s history, celebrating decades of intercultural friendship, women’s empowerment, and community involvement. Julia’s presence brought a remarkable blend of elegance, insight, and inspiration.
As Mrs. World 2023/24, she embodies the very values our club stands for: international understanding, leadership with compassion, and the power of women supporting women. Her speech highlighted the importance of global connection and individual purpose. Julia spoke of her own work as a pediatric psychiatrist in relation to our club’s mission of supporting the young people of our city. She engaged our diverse audience with grace and authenticity, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present. Without a doubt, Julia’s attendance helped us to raise the profile of the club, its work and to raise money for our chosen social causes. She was extremely generous with her time, allowing time for our attendees to speak with her and take photos. Since the event we have been able to stay in contact with Julia and she has again been extremely helpful and generous with her time, attending more fundraising events. Beyond her public persona, Julia is absolutely professional, thoughtful, well-prepared, and genuinely kind. It was a joy to collaborate with her for this special occasion, and we are proud to have had her as part of our anniversary celebration.
